Perfect location right above the surf, where we saw turtles every day we were there. Unit is updated and clean and more spacious than other 2 bedroom condos we've been to on Maui. We did lots of cooking and kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils we needed. We found the Maalaea location pretty handy, centrally located to Wailuku/Kahului, Kihei and West Maui.

Won’t return This property has a great view, but the property is in need of a deep cleaning and refresh to patch up heavy use over the years. The hosts only communication before and prior to us reaching out with a problem was a laundry list of to-dos. No welcome greeting. No suggestions or pleasantries. It was like dealing with a landlord or drill instructor rather than a host. When we raised an issue with the condo, their response was essentially “you should have read the fine print - we won’t come to a reasonable accommodation”. Who wants to feel “lawyered” by their host? The property was superficially clean, but there was sand and dust under every piece of furniture. Nearly all the fixtures were a bit dinged up and all the window and blind operators were broken. The queen mattress needs replacement. We left with sore backs. The location is the same distance from every attraction in Maui, but it’s not close to anything. You’ll drive at least 20 minutes to all activities.

We loved it and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We found it quite relaxing and quiet being on dead end street. Even the construction next door was always done early. The nearby beach was spectacular. Highly recommend. We don’t use tv or AC so can’t comment on those but the breeze/view/air was superb.
