Off the beaten path….. perfect for two couples. AC was much appreciated. Great communication from Rich. Jorge was always ready to assist. Roads are no joke but that’s part of being on a road less traveled. Jorges rides to the beach were preferred as it was hot hot during our stay. Playa boquatillo is as amazing as the other reviews say, if not more. If you’re looking for quiet privacy and a beautiful setting look no further. Casa Isa delivers.

Our family of five spent 10 days enjoying Casa Isa and the gorgeous views of Playa Boquilla and beyond. The house was perfect for our needs - comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out and our own private pool. (The road to the house is a bit hair-raising, but we got more comfortable after a few days of driving it. A 4WD or AWD is a must!) We LOVED every meal that Jorge prepared for us - his cooking was a real highlight of our stay. Easy access to the beach was key, and we were well taken care with drinks and food at Bahia de la Luna. Surprisingly, I think our best meal (outside of Jorge's cooking) was at the small palapa of La Costeñanita at the far end of the beach. Rich was super responsive and answered all of our questions before and during the trip. Casa Isa is a great place for anyone with an adventurous spirit to stay while taking in all the delights the Oaxacan coastline has to offer. Highly recommend!

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen!! Ritch hat proaktiv kommuniziert, die Klimaanlage hat leider nicht funktioniert und der Techniker ist nicht gekommen. Dafür konnte Ritch aber nichts, ist mexikanisch. Ritch hat angeboten, dass wir woanders hinkönnten, was wir aber nicht wollten. Haben eine faire Lösung gefunden. Die Location ist einzigartig und die fast private Bucht ein Traum zum Entspannen. In den Monaten wo es nachts heiß ist, sollte die Klimaanlage funktionieren.

We really enjoyed our month long stay at Casa Isa. Beautiful house and amazing view. The house had everything you would need or want. Very comfy beds. Rich was so helpful that I asked his advice on things when we were at other airbnbs as well, he’s great. The Jorge’s were very nice and respectful and very helpful once we were there. The meals that Jorge made us were so delicious, restaurant quality. The walk to the beach was very steep and dusty but so worth it, although Jorge was always willing to drive us there.

Casa Isa is a beautiful, remote oasis in the sky. Rich was very communicative leading up to and during our trip, and Jorge and Jorge went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The nearby beach is picturesque, and Jorge was always willing to help transport the children to the beach since they could not do the steep hike. Sadly, we had to leave a day earlier than we expected because a lightening storm took out the power in the house. But Rich moved mountains to help us arrange other accommodations and, in the end, everything worked out very well. Many thanks to our hosts at Casa Isa!
