We loved our stay at Eleanor Dare and would stay there again and recommend it to friends. The home was clean, kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home with a large group. We had a few minor issues and they were addressed so quickly. We appreciate the attentiveness, even on a Sunday. We did bring our own bath towels and were glad we did since the ones provide are very small and thin. We had the pool heated and used it daily. We enjoyed the backyard/pool area and the access to the beach. The game room was fun, everything worked and we liked being able to play music over the sound system in the game room and kitchen. The views are beautiful! We loved our stay!
This was our second time staying at this house and it was excellent this time around also.
This was a multi-generational vacation and it was absolutely wonderful! We swam, collected shells, played games, saw the sunrise and a pod of dolphins jumping…..they must have felt like we did! I The people at Kees made it so easy for us with excellent instructions both regarding checking in and leaving. If you’re looking for a terrific place to relax I really recommend Eleanor Dare.
We enjoyed our long weekend very much. House had an amazing view and the large home was good for our group, especially given the rain we had. Bedding was very comfortable. Towels were lacking, scratchy and thin (one per person only). Glad we all brought beach towels for the hot tub as we needed them for toweling of after showers. Kitchen(s) were well equipped for pots/dishes/glasses etc, just no spices or anything. Theater room is nice, but the tv is dated and you cannot use apps on it. We ended up going out to rent a dvd to watch a movie one night. One dishwasher door swings all the way to the floor and smashed a few toes! Be careful! The other one can use some work as well, wonky racks. Bring nightlight for bedroom. Upstairs bedroom is very narrow and my husband and I both hurt our shins and toes trying to navigate between the bed and the dresser.
We had a wonderful time. Great house and great location!
