Cute little place close to downtown! Very clean and comfortable!

For the area, we did not feel safe. Heard gun shots at night and the street out front of this duplex was very busy with noisy vehicles. It was perilous trying to back out of the driveway. Rotted wood around the walkway out front and a lot of weeds in the gravel walk way. There was only one driveway for both units. When we would temporarily facilitate the right side for car juggling, the opener would send an immediate message not to have a Cecile there. The inside was clean, no bugs but the trim around the front door had significant damage that was painted over vs replaced. The last morning, the owner sent a message at 6 AM asking us to let him know if we would leave earlier than 11 AM as it would make scheduling his cleaning crew easier. Least to say this message was also sent to my phone giving a text message waking us up. I would suggest he refrain from that in the future.

My daughter just started college and it’s very close stay from her school and very cozy. Joseph was very responsive and clear with rules which were so easy to follow! I know I will be staying here a lot when I come back to visit my daughter!

We weren’t aware that we needed to bring soap. The location was marketed as downtown, definitely wasn’t, area was a bit sketchy. My friend felt unsafe leaving her car there for the day. We should have bought and left a corkscrew. The one in the kitchen was from the 80’s, pretty sure. Lol Biggest issue was that it was listed for $80 a night, we stayed two nights. So expected to pay just over $200. But with a $150 cleaning fee and other taxes, we paid $370!!!! And moreover, we were asked to take out the trash, wash the dishes, etc. We would have changed the sheets and cleaned up the bathroom to avoid the cleaning fee. The place was fine. Just all the little things we found a little much.

Our minds felt at ease because we were able to bring our pup with us, and the home was really close to where we needed to be for the weekend. The home was comfortable. Joseph was really helpful and always very prompt at answering our questions. We enjoyed our stay.
