We have a lovely week at Catherine’s home. We have stayed in quite a few properties in North Norfolk but particularly enjoyed this one, especially its downstairs layout and homely feel. The property is lovely inside and great for a family of mixed ages (as we were). Its location is brilliant, so you can easily pop to the local shop and is within walking distance of a pub (the Ship Inn) for eating out. The playground across the road was great to have for the little people. We had hoped to also pay some tennis at the courts but time and the weather didn’t permit - but great to have this as an option. We hope to return sometime!

Just back from a wonderful week with the family at Thistlewood Cottage. The layout of the house, especially the living area, is very well thought out - we never got in each other’s way as there was so much space. The sleeping arrangements worked well for us with the 2 twin rooms. Outside the patio area is very relaxing and the garden plus the field, which is fully enclosed for the dog, allowed us to play many games together without disturbing anyone. The PO/Deli opposite had some delicious fare and the children’s play area was exceptional. We easily walked/biked to the beach and had a great meal at The Ship one night - again within walking distance. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to visiting again soon.

A very spacious home. Great and secure garden area for dogs and good walking access to Brancaster Beach. Many other coastal walks close by so a really good location. We enjoyed the fresh bread and coffees at the store across the road. Thank you.

Thistlewood Cottage is in a wonderfully peaceful setting (just off the high street in Brancaster) and we were delighted to see roe deer in the garden when we arrived. It is brilliantly situated, a couple of minutes from the lovely local store and play area, not far from friendly pubs and a lovely walk down to the beach which we and our dogs made the most of. We found the accommodation extremely well appointed with absolutely everything we needed for the days we were self catering rather than eating out. All in all, a little slice of heaven which we hope to come back to soon.

Beautiful cottage, great garden and lovely village location. Great communication with Cathy and had a wonderful stay.
