We appreciated how well-appointed and well-planned the cottage is. It is very snug but felt bigger due to some very clever space-saving design, which meant that none of it felt cramped and there was plenty of storage. Perfect for 2-3 people. Any more might be pushing it! All very new and clean and everything you need in the kitchen. We loved having the log burner and listening to the birdsong, owls and church bells every evening. We also loved the views on both sides of the cottage. Lots of comedy value from the gang of 4 sheep who roam around the village.

Lovely area, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So many amazing walks and the countryside was fabulous. Thank you, we really enjoyed it.

We had a very nice stay. Very clean and tidy. Comfy beds and nice linen. The kitchen was well speced out with good equipment, enough pots and pans and utensils to cook a proper meal. Great to have a washing machine as we were biking and hiking in the rain each day! Also had a handy bike shed for the bike. No parking outside the house but we managed to park down the road not too far away. All in all a good place for us, stayed with my son, with a decent bedroom each.

Fantastic hideaway in the heart of the Lake District. Beautifully presented with everything you could want for your stay. Highly recommended and I cannot wait to go back again
