What a little hidden treasure we stumbled across in Toogoom. A small beach house right on the beach to enjoy the sunrise and to chill and relax. The house was very comfortable for the 6 of us and the kayaks and SUP were so much fun on the high tide. Julia is a great host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. This property is not 5 Star Hilton but in our opinion it’s so much better! Books, board games, BBQs and beers with family right on the beach. What’s not to like and we can’t wait to come back!

Das Haus und die Lage waren wie beschrieben und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war da, was man braucht bis auf Internet. Eigentlich dort angesichts der Aussicht, der Sonnenauf- und Untergänge und der Vogelwelt bis hin zu Kängurus am Strand nicht nötig, aber wir sind auf der Reise entlang der Ostküste Australiens und für die Buchung und Kontaktabwicklung mit den Unterkünftem wäre es schon sehr hilfreich gewesen. Toogoom ist sehr ruhig und im positiven Sinn eine "Schlafstadt", d. h. dort ist kein öffentliches Internet zu finden. Fazit: Wir haben 3 schöne Tage dort verbracht und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We are Toogoom locals… but needed some extra room over Christmas! Julia’s place has a great position, was beautifully clean and the beds were comfy! We would use her house again for sure!!

A lovely beach house with amazing views. There were 6 of us and it didn't feel crowded. The little ones loved being able to walk straight down to the beach and play in the sand, the teenager loved the water sport equipment provided and the adults loved being able to sit on the patio and soak up the view. Lots of touches that make you feel at home: dvds, board games, fully stocked kitchen. Very practical house for its beach location: screened, tiled floor, air cons throughout. Julia was lovely and communicated all we needed to know.

Great place to stay Julia was responsive and friendly. Place was nice and clean had everything we needed there. Will definitely go back at some point
