We loved our quick stay at Ruth’s house. The space was quaint, clean, and charming. Ruth went above and beyond to help arrange a visit to the near-by Raptor Sanctuary and for our young boys to help with cow milking in the morning. So close to the lake, with waterbuck and giraffe coming and going. Really excellent. We hope to return some day.

Charming farm cottage on the banks of Lake Naivasha... we had a lovely stay and enjoyed boats redest and walk in nature. Ruth is an exceptional host and was super friendly and supportive with our requests for local recommendations and contacts for rides. Highly recommend, and we will be back.

Wow, this was the best find ever. What an amazing place. It is totally quiet in beautiful garden surroundings. The terras for breakfast and dinner is totally private and perfect for lazing around and reading books. The farm is connected to the beach along the farm and early in the morning you can find, if you are lucky like us offcourse, hippos when gazing over the lake from the shore. Boats to go to hippo point and a tour of the lake can be arranged from the shore. This place is perfect for multiple days because of the beautiful and quiet location. All ameninties for cooking are there. If it is raining the living room is more than big enough to stay inside. Apart from the lake you can go up on mount longonot (3km up and 7km around the rim) or visit hells kitchen. A tip is going to crater lake sanctuary and ask to walk around the outside of the crater (park you car at the entranche gate and not at the crater rim). You can walk between giraffes and zebra's without a guide.

Ruth’s place fit our family well. The kids loved the bunk beds and being able to explore the farm. Francis was very kind and patient as they attempted to milk the cows! We felt at home and appreciated the privacy provided by the trees and small garden space around the cottage. We were fortunate to be able to arrive early and check out late. It was easy to pick up groceries in Naivasha as well as at the small farm shop nearby. There was also some fresh milk in the fridge that I enjoyed with my tea!

It had a beautiful garden, very close to the lake where we can go for boat safari. She introduced us to a guy who does boat safari, too. Jane and other workers were super friendly, and even the dogs were so adorable. We loved our stay here. Thank you, Ruth. :)
