María was an amazing host. She was extremely responsive when we had questions. Our AC needed to be fixed and her husband was awesome and helped us out. He even helped us get a car rental that delivered and picked up at the apartment. The apartment had a huge assortment of toiletries and we loved that they provided beach towels. Would stay here again for sure!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Maria. C’est une hôte qui prends soin de vous et qui répond rapidement à vos demandes. Le logement est très propre et possède tout ce qu’il faut pour vivre une belle expérience à Cozumel en toute liberté. Nous conseillons vivement cet Airbnb.

This was the perfect location to enjoy all that downtown has to offer, while still having a sense of privacy. The beds are very comfortable, not too hard or soft. The garden is so beautiful, we loved filling the feeders and seeing hummingbirds, bananaquits and orioles all day. One special point: we never had ants or mosquitoes in the house, which we've had in every Cozumel Airbnb and most of the hotels in our 20 trips here. Go ahead and book it already!

My friend and I stayed in Cozumel for a few days and Maria Ivone and Alex’s apartment was exactly what we needed! We were so close to city center, and incredible restaurants were so close which made walking there easy. The bedrooms were wonderfully cool (great fans and AC) which is exactly what we needed each night after long days in the sun. Also really appreciated the filtered water next to the sink! Very friendly and helpful. Loved it!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Maria and Alex's Airbnb for four weeks. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen which included a quality corkscrew and coffeemaker and a wide variety of cooking utensils and spices. We have been using Airbnb internationally for years and consider Maria and Alex to be two of the friendliest hosts we have ever had and they were also extremely accommodating. The apartment was cleaned weekly and our hosts supplied us with unlimited bottled water. If you are working remotely, note that there is a school nearby so you can sometimes hear noise coming from the open air gymnasium.
