Hoang Phoeurn is such a welcoming and lovely host. The place is just beautiful - I could stay there for weeks. If you want to experience real Cambodian life (no touristy stuff), this is your place to stay! :-)

This was by far the best place I stayed in Cambodia, I felt at home from the moment I arrived. Huan is the kindest host you can have and her baby boy is absolutely disarming. The bungalows are at the top of a hill, simple and spacious and have the best view in town: you can see the sunrise from your hammock or bed, surrounded by fruit trees cashew nuts, jack fruit, banana, and avocado trees. The place is close to a wonderful sunset view point, a good café on the next hill, and restaurants. Logistically perfect, my efficient host organized a scooter for me to go around, she is also a tour guide and we had two days of visiting many interesting sites around and local villages. I enjoyed having dinner with her family and friends and playing with her beautiful baby. I certainly think there is no better place to stay in Banlung. Finally she also organized the minivan to my next destination (door to door!) Thank you! I will miss you all. Hope to come back soon :)

Die Gastgeber waren wirklich großartig und obwohl der Besuch in Ban Lung nur ein kurzer Abstecher in den Norden sein sollte, waren wir im Nachhinein ganz begeistert und behalten die Tree Lodge in toller Erinnerung. Das Zimmer hat uns völlig ausgereicht und alle Mitarbeiter waren so fürsorglich und liebevoll, dass wir uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben. Auch wenn der Weg hierhin weit ist, bleibt dieser Besuch die Reise immer wert. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland 👋🏼

We've had a lovely stay at Horng's place. The room is simple but confortable and clean, dinners and breakfast were delicious, homemade and cheap. Horng organise all the transports and excursions, tuk tuk to waterfalls, gems mines and even trekking in the jungle, she and her husband are professionnal guides. I recommand 100% to stay with them !

The Treelodge gives you a local and different vibe of the life and is an opportunity to experience the local life closer. I’m was having good time starting there and host Phoern was available if i had any inquiries or needs. On top of everything, you can rent a motorcycle or book interesting trips to national parks around.
