GOODS POINTS This a a lovely house in a great location. 5min walk to shops and 10min walk into the heart of Cambridge. It is peaceful and quiet with a nice outlook across Midsummer Common. It is modern inside with an overall clean and spacious feel about the place. MINOR QUIBBLE The bathroom door does not lock. The shower head in the bathroom is fixed too long and soaks the bathroom floor. The thermostatic radiator valve in the front bedroom is not working so the radiator can not be turned off which made it too hot at night. No dish cloths or tea towels. There was what looked a blood stain on one of the duvet covers. Over half the herbs and spices in the cupboard were two to three years out of date. NOT SO GOOD POINT Our parking permit ran out of spaces on the second day. Every day we asked Gaby (Stay Beyond agency) for a new one. They did not issue a new permit; just apologised and kept saying they would look into it. We were lucky not to get a parking fine. A little stressful.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house was stunning. The kitchen was beautiful and very well equipped, we had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was dreamy! The house was in the middle of the Midsummer common so the views were stunning, it was also around 5 minutes away from the city centre. We requested a parking permit and it was ready for us when we came, we also didn't have any problems with finding parking space.

Second time staying here. Lovely house and great location. Highly recommend as a base for exploring Cambridge!
