Der Aufenthalt in der Bribri Lodge ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Es ist ein Paradies! Ruhig, sehr gepflegt, mitten in der wunderschönen Natur. Wir haben eine tolle Wanderung aus dem Angebot gemacht und viel gesehen und erfahren. Das Essen ist wunderbar. Es wird frisch zubereitet und die Zutaten sind hauptsächlich aus dem eigenen Garten. Alles Bio. Es gibt in der Nähe keine Restaurants oder Aktivitäten, sodass man die Zeit im Wesentlichen in der Lodge verbringt. Die Uzles, (Hütten) sind sehr sauber und gemütlich. Erholung pur. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzliche Menschen und haben sich um unser Wohl gekümmert. Die Anreise ist etwas abenteuerlich, bringt aber viel Spaß. Wir haben drei Nächte dort verbracht und werden die schöne Zeit immer in bester Erinnerung behalten. Ein Highlight unserer Reise!

ci siamo trovati benissimo! abbiamo mangiato sempre molto bene e vario provato cose nuove. Tutti sono stati amichevoli e le camminate sono splendide sembra di essere in un paradiso. Ci tornerei molto volentieri

10/10!!! Don't search for another Airbnb, staying with Waldi and Jenny would be memorable. These beautiful couple and their team's work will do everything to make you feel the warmth of their culture. You will learn about history, eat healthy and delicious home made food prepare with love at the restaurant, sounds of nature will put you to sleep and make you meditate how simple but pleasant human being can leave. This is a place to disconnect from technology and to connect with mother's nature, enjoying not to do anything for a while, just being in the present moment. Also, you can ask Jenny or Waldi about what to do around the area, they will recommend many activities, to get to know the area, and, last but not least, interact with these amazing Culture! Definitely an experience you must live! All the best for you! Yani.

I would come back in a heartbeat. Waldi & Jenny were very kind and helpful. I felt part of the family. They went above and beyond to help me and even went to a pharmacy for me when I needed medication. (This was a few bus rides away, so it was a VERY kind thing for them to do.) Their food was delicious. The cabins were amazing and look like the pictures. Everyone in the village is helpful and kind. This is where organic bananas are grown and I loved seeing everyone’s farms and plantations. There is a lovely culture center where you can learn about the Bribri people. If you don’t speak Spanish you will need a translator. The Bribri people’s first language is Bribri, second is Spanish, not everyone knows it however, and then some know English. Waldi & Jenny speak English. They are good, hardworking, honest people making a difference in their community as well as the lives of the travelers staying at their lodge. I feel I am a better person after having met them.
