We had a wonderful stay at Jason's place. The cottage was open and bright with a beautiful view of the lake. We really enjoyed the upper deck and the dock area. The swimming and kayaking was wonderful. It was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. 10 out of 10 for Oquaga Lake!

We stayed at Jason’s lake house for Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed our time especially during good weather, where the deck and lake amenities shone. They have clearly put effort into the deck for guests’ enjoyment and the lake itself is beautiful. As a guest you are allowed to use the paddleboat, kayak and canoe - being right on the lake with some great views is a big plus. It was mostly cold during our stay, which underscored some areas for improvement - the heating was inconsistent throughout the house. The house could have also been cleaner upon arrival as there were some dead bugs and cobwebs lying around in the living room area. Additionally, the original listing showed towels being included with the stay, but upon arrival was mentioned that they were not included (those of us who did not bring towels ended up having to buy towels from the Walmart in the area). All in all, we enjoyed our stay and Jason was very responsive and accommodating as a host!
