Beautiful place with great trails!
This was our best Airbnb experience! The property was amazing and the cottage was charming and modern. We spent hours on the deck. We had coffee on the dock down on the lake, and bbqs every night. It was so very peaceful. The cottage, had everything we needed and then some. The property was amazing and we hiked almost everyday. The trails were marked and clean. The grounds were very well kept. On our first hike out, we had the pleasure of meeting Jackson. He was sweet and informative, and willing to do anything for us. He made us feel welcome and appreciated. On our last night, I got a migraine. We needed a later check out time. He responded within minutes and he gave us 3 extra hours, fortunately my husband was able to get everything done and we left on time. If we paid double, it would have been worth every penny. I can’t say enough. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the place! Don’t pass it up. We spent 7 nights and 8 days, we wished we stayed a few weeks!
It is a beautiful and serene place to chill. A neat walk through the woods to the lake (pond) and sitting on the dock was a blessing. Everything new inside. Looking forward to another stay soon.
We stayed in Daniel Cottage for a few days while traveling from out of town for work nearby. Everything was beautiful and clean, exceeded expectations. Had everything we needed and then some. Host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Another cottage and hosts house was within view, but never felt bothered or uncomfortable never really saw anyone else just cars. Our last night we were able to enjoy the fire table on the deck and relax on the patio furniture, very quiet and relaxing. We didn’t have any time to explore and walk around for this stay but look forward to coming back when not working!
We had a great time. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the trails, fishing, and scenery. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We had the pleasure of meeting Jack, and enjoyed learning more about the history and stories about the property. This place was perfect for our stay. We have relatives in the area and will most definitely stay here again

I'm a retired CEO from a mid-sized distribution company and my wife has done an amazing job of raising our best friends - our two adult daughters. I retired in mid-2016 and retirement has been wonderful but its been even better since our purchase and renovation of Weldan Pond. The property was Beverly's grandparent's and parent's place but had fallen into serious disrepair. Now we're enjoying it and inviting you to enjoy it, too. We've traveled in the US and Europe extensively but we've fallen in love with the country life as well. We'd love to show you around.
