首先，Raphael房子的房间很大，有两个卧室，并且带有独立的卫生间。客厅里可以摆放3-4人的大号行李箱。因为是刚刚上新的房源所以价格也很优惠，我想以后可能也不会有这么优惠的价格了。 其次，地理位置也很好，旁边有一个号称欧洲最大的商场，购物和吃饭都很方便。旁边还有地铁，去知名景点的距离也就是几站地铁而已。周末还有知名的周末集市，非常有意思。由于离主马路还有2个街区所以平时社区也很安静，适合玩了一天的你好好休息。 最后，Raphael也很好沟通，我在预订的时候付款弄错了他也很快帮我解决了，我们到伦敦后使用whatsapp联络，他虽然人在国外但及时帮我们解决了房间里有些设施的使用问题。因为在圣诞期间入住还贴心的准备了欢迎我们的小礼物，真是非常感谢！ P.S.房间只有一个小问题，对于女生来说没有一个全身镜，所以出门前不照一下感觉有点怪怪的，哈哈哈。

Lots of positives about the flat. Great location; close to the tube and Portobello. The flat was well appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. Raphael and Sylvia Marie (the housecleaner) were very responsive. Problems with one toilet never got fully fixed but we could work around them. Biggest negative for us was Raphael’s rigidity around housecleaning. He insisted that the flat be cleaned every week for 4-hours (at our expense). This detail was not mentioned in the original listing but was disclosed after we expressed interest. Although Raphael initially agreed to be flexible, he still demanded weekly cleaning, even when we were traveling and not using the flat. This led to considerable awkwardness, particularly when we were in town and were inconvenienced by having to work around the housecleaner’s schedule. Also, some of the artwork was disturbing (a print of torture scenes?!), so we would not recommend this flat for families with young children. Lovely neighbors in the building.

We stayed for three months at Raphaël’s lovely flat in West London and had a fantastic time. Although, we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him in person, Raphaël was always very responsive, polite and helpful. The flat is nicely decorated, well-stocked, and the location is very convenient – well-connected and with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. We look forward to coming back.

We stayed at Raphael's place for five weeks and could not be happier. The place looks as good as pictures, it has two comfortable bedrooms, nice touches like hammam in one of the showers. Raphael is very fast to respond and gave us many local tips (even if they did not matter as much during lockdown). When booking, our main concern was that the flat might be a bit far from the central area of the Notting Hill and might not be as nice, in practice, it is a short and very pleasant walk to the Portobello Road and the area itself is very clean and safe. In addition, if you do rent a car, there is plenty of street parking available around the flat. We would stay in Raphael's place again.
