John and Jocelyn are very hospitable hosts and the location is very peaceful if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The space is rustic with charm and you'll even have a dog friend before you leave, possibly cats however that's down to them to decide. The pool is lovely and refreshing after a day in the hot Sri Lankan heat. They are very knowledgeable about the area and places to buy local produce and you must not forget the bread from the local shop! As an ex air BnB host who has traveled most of the world now and met a lot of hosts, John and Jocelyn are up there with some of the best. Thankyou for your continued warmness and hospitality. If you are thinking of a trip to Thalawila then stay here, you won't regret it.

Great place to stay, with incredibly kind and friendly hosts. The hut is comfortable gives you lots of privacy. The only thing is that you to be aware of the insects when you come here. But other than that I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely stay in this rustic hut for a month. Jos and John are super friendly and go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. The location is stunning, right on the lagoon with plenty of birds and the beach is super close. Having a dip in the pool is an added bonus. The sunsets here are just gorgeous and ones we will never forget. Recommend this place for a really memorable stay and special hosts.

We had a nice and relaxing time. Jon and Jos are such lovely hosts. Jon always has a great story to tell and Jos is a magician in the kitchen. The location is situated in a chilled neighbourhood, the bungalow was well equipped and there were kayaks to rent and bikes to use. Make sure to check out the beach, go on a sunset kayak trip through the lagoon and enjoy the great company of these two fabulous hosts.
