Our home is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a very peaceful part of Pinelands. We are surrounded by lovely old trees, the sounds of weaver birds and only 8km from the city centre and 15mins drive from the airport! We are a creative family and have designed this home into a bright and contemporary style while still being practical for our 3 small boys. Plenty of outdoor space to entertain, swimming pool and treehouse for the kids. A perfect holiday getaway from the busy city! There is a remote controlled gate with sufficient parking for 2 cars and a big garden to run wild in. Multiple spaces designed to enjoy the different times of day, to entertain and to cook with fire and take advantage of the wonderful South African summer! Note: we have off-grid solar power so are not affected by load shedding.

We had a lovely stay in the house of Luke! We were with 6 and had more than enough space. The house is so lovely, perfect decorated, in a quiet area, nice bedrooms and bathrooms and the communication with Luke was great. We are very thankful!

The array of amenities was astonishing - from kid-friendly games to a charming treehouse, a delightful swimming pool, and an ample layout of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The front and back terraces offered serene spots to unwind. The heart of the home, the open kitchen linked seamlessly with the cozy living room, creating a perfect space for family bonding. The host's attention to detail was evident in every corner, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. Communication was impeccable; the hosts were always a message away, ready to assist at any moment. This space truly epitomizes a family retreat, and our time here was nothing short of a perfect 10. Fantastic home with absolutely everything you need. Location is central, quiet street. Luke was incredibly accommodating, quickly answered questions and checked in with us to ensure all was okay. Highly recommend this home if you’re visiting Cape Town.
We absolutely loved our stay at Luke’s place. We felt at home immediately and were sad to leave. The house is nicely and stylishly furnished while being very open and accessible for kids. Our 3 kids loved playing in the pool and with the playmobile toys that were available. The house is well located for trips in and around Cape Town whilst also being remote enough to spend some time on one’s own to wind down. And thanks to the electric fences, we felt safe all the time. Pinelands is a special place full of trees and friendly neighbours! You can walk from our house to Ou Meul bakery in 10 mins for excellent coffee and food as well as a grocery store. This area is a gem to be close to the city but not stuck in the traffic etc
There is a train station about 10 mins walk but it is advisable to rent a car or use Uber as the trains are not reliable.
