Overall, my stay is great. The location of place is near famous restaurants and is within walking distance of some tourist spots (Gaia Cafe, Bus ruins). However, the Internet connect is kinda slow, but I think it's just because of the location (But data for smart is fast). Also, the host is responsive to all our inquiries.

I initially booked 1 room for 4 people for 2 nights but decided to get another room so we won’t be too cramped up on a shared bed. The owner, Julius was kind enough to give me back half the refund from my previous booking. Aside from that, he kept me posted on the updates in Sagada (where the city opted to close tours). As my Aunts won’t be going to the falls and the caves anyway, we still pushed through with the trip. Amlangan Lodge has a good location, clean rooms with a private bathroom and a very accommodating staff. Julius and his wife greeted us warmly when we arrived at night and even accompanied us with our bags in our rooms. Her wife was even the one who cooked the eggs we requested in the morning and in all ways we wanted it (hard-boiled, soft boiled and fried). One of the staff members, Jess, has been such a huge help is helping us arrange affordable Sagada etag (local cured ham) and even a much cheaper home-service massage. The rooms were clean and I have already looked into several places in Sagada and it is the only one that has everything I wanted—a private bathroom in each room (shower and toilet were separate which was perfect), location at the town proper, good free wifi, and it was very affordable as compared to others. There was only one mishap—I booked 2 rooms, and everything was working well except for the water heater on room 7. My Aunts needed to shower in our room instead since it was impossible to take a bath with cold water in Sagada weather. We mentioned the problem already the first night but unfortunately it was not addressed or fixed during our whole stay. Other than that, I would still recommend the place. It is a value-worth accommodation in Sagada and the view from the room with a mini-terrace was a nice plus for me.

Everything about this place is just perfect. The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Also the hospitality and kindness of the hosts is beyond measure. We'll surely come back 🥰
