A lovely small daylight basement apartment looking East over the Bay, gorgeous views morning and night. Inside, it is simple and spacious. The drive up this hill in Belmont neighborhood is a little wild, because the road is narrow and steep sometimes with deer walking in the street. There's easy parking in the large driveway, the setting is quiet and at each visit I've encountered really interesting local wildlife in the yard (deer, a hare) right outside the French Door windows facing East - seems surprising for being so close to town. There are good local restaurants, local shops, and a short drive to the 101 or 280. Melanie, the owner, has been friendly and very responsive each time I've visited.

Location is amazing and in a quiet neighborhood that’s still close to everything! The whole place is beautiful and is only 20-30 minutes from San Francisco, will definitely be coming back!

Melanie was a great host. She was very responsive and helpful with our needs. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. It was a treat to see wildlife in the yard.

The room is nice and clean and the bed is very comfortable. Suitable for business trip I would say. The view from Belmont hill is very beautiful. The only thing that need extra care is that some Uber driver have a hard time of finding the place. It was built on the top of the mountain so the entrance to the house is actually on a loop.
