We were welcomed by the youngest of the family and quickly learned that the entire family is involved to provide us the best experience and sharing their stories during our stay. We appreciated the homegrown vegetables use for the meals, tasting the home brewed millet drink and the delicious millet roti with spinach for breakfast.

This was such a cool place to stay. The location is stunning, and the cottage we stayed in had the most amazing views across the valley. The best part, however, was the chance to get a glimpse of a wonderful family life on a very nice working farm. We felt so welcome there and my only regret was not booking more days there.

This property is not just a homestay but an experience in itself. And Thinlay and his family's kindness and hospitality is beyond comparison. Organic, home grown ingredients are used to prepare meals with care and deep seeded appreciation for the art of cooking. We followed Thinlay's recommendations blindly and each meal was a surprise. Each having their own unique style, the cottages are cozy, spacious and skillfully made to get maximum out of the natural surroundings and view. Presence of well behaved dogs, cats, rabbits and birds just add to the charm. This is a home. They treat you like their own. They help you like their own. And they feed you like their own. I'm going back again. And again. And again. P.S. - Thinlay is a charming storyteller. Find time to sit with him for his amazing life experiences.
