Very welcoming cozy cottage. Bed is very comfortable. Views are excellent. The driveway was perfect for our low profile car. Super convenient to car club events at Fontana Village.

We've never been to the area and was looking for a place within the resort's community that was a little further out and quieter and this place is exactly that. The cottage was well stocked with all sorts of kitchen/bathroom amenities, books, tabletop games, plenty to watch on TV, and the WI-FI was surprisingly fast. The dogs loved it too. It was really cool to learn the history of this place of what it was to what it is now. All the guest were fairly pleased with their stay, with the exception that the two single beds one bedroom were very firm and the pull out bed in the living room is in dire need of a new mattress, but the queen was very nice and I slept just fine. We were able to bring groceries and cook/prepare all meals with more than enough dishes and cookware to use as needed. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention the gorgeous view of the distant mountain ranges looking out the huge windows. So overall, for the price, it's definitely a great getaway and worth the stay.

This cabin is only about 2 minutes from the wildwood grill in Fontana Village. It is peaceful, and has a great view. You cannot beat the price to be this close to everything. The wifi was strong which was great since there is absolutely no cell service. The only improvement that could be done is if there was some sort of exhaust fan installed in the bathroom. It was pretty humid while we were there & the bathroom stayed wet after a shower. But other than that, it was perfect.
