Gary and Patricia were so friendly and hospitable. The cabin was perfect for our family of four with our 2 young children. There are a few small trails around the cabin and a tire swing that the kids really enjoyed. Patricia and Gary also stopped by to give us some information about Cloudland Canyon and other restaurants to visit. We had a memorable visit to Rock City, the aquarium, zoo, Creative Discovery museum, and a short visit to Cloudland Canyon.
Gary and Patricia’s cabin is everything the listing said it was. It was super cute, in a great location with easy access to downtown Chattanooga and lookout mountain, close to ALL the things to do. Our girls had a great time up in the loft. We would definitely stay again. Gary and Patricia are great hosts, super responsive, kind and helpful. Thank y’all for having us.
The location is amazing. Just steps from incredible trails and a really short drive to Chattanooga attractions. We loved it!
Gary and Patricia were incredibly hospitable and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It's close to Covenant College, where my children attend.
I told other people at the event I was attending during my stay about how great the cozy cabin was. I would absolutely recommend it and stay there again.

自我介绍
We met here on Lookout Mountain as students at Covenant College and were married in 1971. Gary retired after 45 years as a History teacher. Our family of 7 has grown to include the next generation of 8 delightful grandchildren. We love visiting national parks and have traveled extensively overseas. We're always grateful to come back to our home in the woods on Lookout Mountain! We built our own log home in 1984 and The Cottage at Wayside in 2003. Gary's first retirement project was The Cabin at Wayside. It's a pleasure to share this wonderful location with our guests.
