10/10 recommend! Absolutely loved my stay here. Anna is the sweetest lady and she is very helpful and thoughtful. She knew I was going hiking and blended me her walking sticks which really did come in handy. The room is a perfect size and could easily accommodate 2 guests. There's a desk as well. It was easy to find a parking space. If you're visiting during the summer, you may have to bring a sleep mask as there are blinds in the room which don't block out all of the light. I got used to it after a couple of days, but be mindful there aren't blackout curtains.

Anna was one of the first AirBnB hosts I stayed with but I am still throughly convinced that it can't get better than her place. Like the other people said she is an absolutely amazing host and kindhearted person over all so I felt extremely comfortable with her the whole stay. We had a lot of lovely chats where I learned about her work as well as Icelandic history and literature. If I had any questions she put so much effort in answering them in detail, which I appreciate a lot. The room you stay in is spacious, clean and has a lot of storage and work space for you, so I can especially recommend it for longer trips. However you should be aware that Anna has a lot of rules to follow but to be honest most of them are really just common sense and thus shouldn't pose a problem to anyone. If you don't have a rental car you can still get to Reykjavík quite easily, just make sure to plan in more time for that. I really enjoyed my stay here and would love to come back soon!

I truly enjoyed my experience in Iceland and my stay at Anna's place was top notch! The place was modern, spotless, yet cozy and comfortable. The room is quite large and has plenty of storage space, including a large desk for a workspace. The bed was very comfortable and I slept wonderfully. Anna is an excellent host! Communication was impeccable and she was incredibly helpful, providing tips and maps and links to everything you could possibly do. Anna is very knowledgeable about Iceland and its attractions and truly wants you to have the experience of your dreams. The location itself is very convenient. It's within walking distance of two grocery stores and the town itself has everything you need, yet it's close enough to Reykavik, which has even more. At first, I was not going to get a car. Anna suggested that a car would be best and I took her advice. She was was absolutely correct. If you truly want to experience Iceland, get a car! Fantastic experience all around.
