A pet friendly, charming 2 bedroom apartment at the end of a quiet dead end street near bus routes. A 15 minute walk to downtown Northampton, a 5 minute drive to Smith College, and a 1 minute ride to the bike path. This apartment is thoughtfully furnished with a colorful collection of retro and contemporary details, local artwork, and a fully equipped kitchen, two supremely comfortable queen beds, and a deep claw foot tub for soaking. A fifth guest can be added for an extra $40/night. A private apartment on the first level of a two unit house. Built in 1910, this house has charming vintage details like an original large claw foot tub (great for long soaks), tin ceilings, and ceramic sinks. Nestled at the end of a quiet street, it is a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring the Happy Valley. There are a few steps leading up to the front porch and a big claw foot tub that does require a bit of a step up to get in. Each of the two bedrooms features a comfortable queen bed with 100% cotton or linen sheets and down comforters (please take note if you have allergies!). There is also a convertible couch in the living room that can be used as a small twin bed that is best suited for a smaller adult or child. Adding a fifth guest is $40/night. Please note that while voices, music, and TV sounds don’t travel between the two floors, footsteps sometimes do. Each bedroom is equipped with a white noise machine for those who sleep lightly. This is an excellent spot to stay if you are interested in exploring the extensive bike paths that go through town out to Easthampton and Southampton or Amherst and Belchertown. There is a bike rack behind the house that you can use to lock up your bikes between rides. I am currently hosting the work of a local artist called Shanee Epstein.
