There is 1 Queen Bed & 1 double bed. The Petersen cottage has been a gathering place for generations. We have carefully and thoughtfully opened it to guest. Walk into open living space and smell the pine wood that surrounds the cabin. Large windows let in light and view of the mature trees and blue skies. The bedrooms are full of charm and character. The holidays are magical in this setting. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, spices, Keurig and a few pods to get you started. A full washer and dryer located in the hallway. Cozy up the fireplace on those chilly afternoons. The decks are a favorite place for guest. Enjoy the wild life and beautiful mature aspen, pine and maple trees. No matter what time of year the setting is spectacular. On the large side deck there is a fire pit that we ask guest to not use. Fires are a part of the mountain life, but with such dry years the town has asked to use only approved fire pits. This fire pit is not approved and the smoke tends to bother the neighbors behind the cottage. If you have a portable approved fire pit you are welcome to bring it and use the space in the front yard or north lot for your gatherings.
