We also put most of the airbnb money back into the house...so we price our home very reasonably. 5 minutes with bus or car to Hyllie Station and Malmö Arena- where the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 took place, King Tut exhibit, concerts, ice hockey games, Cirque du Soleil... We are only 15 minutes to the arena by bike- please use our bikes. This is an upscale and quiet part of Malmö but still has great connections to the city and we are only 20 minutes to Copenhagen. From our house, you can easily take the train from Hyllie Station to/from Copenhagen. Malmö Airport, Sturup, is located 30 minutes with the Airport Coach. We are in Limhamn with lots of 'old town' charm and small shops, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and two major grocery stores. 20 minute bike ride to the center of Malmö. Complimentary use of our bikes. The ocean with stunning views over Öresundsbridge is a 5 minute bike ride from our door. At Hyllie, there is also a brand new shopping center- Emporia -with 200 shops and lots of resturants. Our House: Clean towels and sheets and pilliows included in the price. We also leave you some small amenities -like shampoo, soap, hair dryer, shaving cream. (Usually, you make -up your own bed with the sheets we provide...hope that is ok!) We leave YOU a drawer or two (for your clothes) in every room so that you can unpack properly and enjoy your holiday! And, in the Master Bedroom, we provide a hanging rack and hangers. We also provide a drawer in the bathroom for your toiletries (that is PRIME real estate!). Three bedrooms: - king size bed - double bed - queen bed -day bed in master bedroom can also be used as a bed Two bathrooms: Upstairs: - shower and bathtub - double sink - toilet Downstairs: -sink -toilet This is our home so you will have all you need to cook (including dishwasher). Our clothes washer/dryer is not always available but we can help make arrangements, if that is important to your stay. We want to help one another have an enjoyable experience, so we usually leave the 'basics' (eggs, flour, milk, sugar, pasta, coffee and tea, jams) in the cabinets and in the refrigerator so you can have things on hand when you arrive. If you use something, we just ask that you replace it before you checkout, so that the next family also has things on hand. Enjoy our sunny garden with apple and plum trees for YOU to pick, and a gas grill for YOU to use and trampoline (as seen in every Swedish garden!). Nice sunroom, living room, kitchen and dining room. Welcome! The reasons for our lower prices: 1. we are often also away on vacation when we rent our house. We leave you a 'Welcome Packet' with our bike keys, maps, information on the area, books about the area in English and a local contact person. But, if you think you need a lot of in- person support, then this might not be the house for you and your loved ones. 2. We decided to get cats. Some people love them and others are allergic or annoyed by them! We think you ought to know that 2 grey cats roam the property. In the spring and summer they are mostly outdoors. You and your guests should be prepared to treat them nicely as they will cross your path and they like to be pet. As for their care, we give priority to guests who are willing to feed and 'water' them while we are away. (No litter box!)
