My friend and I needed a mom getaway weekend where we could really just do nothing and that is basically what we did. The cabin was cozy, inviting and warm. We had a beautiful unexpected snowstorm that left us mesmerized and just added to our relaxing weekend. The cabin is very easy to find and it backs into the most beautiful hill with a trail that we loved hiking up to sit and just meditate. The cabin came stocked with almost everything you needed — bring any of your creature comforts if you need them. The oven/stove are vintage and we could not quite figure out how to use but we used the toaster oven and that was perfect! This cabin is fine for two people, and my friend slept on the bed and I took the couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. I brought my own sleeping bag and pillow. John and Dani were awesome. The perfect type of hosts. Wrightwood is such a hidden gem that I am so glad I have been able to grow up so close to here. The Village Grind in town is delicious BTW!

Perfect spot for a private getaway!Everything was perfect, peaceful and hosts were very nice and amazing hosts. Especially with our 2 fur babies with us. Would definitely stay here again

My bf and I stayed for two nights at John's cabin during valentine's weekend. It was a beautiful cabin, exactly as described, and the lovely bali-themed decorations helped add an extra layer to the zen and peacefulness of it all. The jacuzzi was perfect for a cold snowy night, and we also had a chance to use the fireplace which was great. The bed was super comfortable, and the playable guitar in the corner, along with the guest robes in the bathroom, were great little extra details. John was also very responsive, and answered all the questions I had beforehand. Overall, the cabin was a perfect getaway for two. Thank you John! We will definitely be back again!
