We enjoyed a lovely week at Siobhans house. It is a stones throw from the beach, which was exactly what we wanted. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. It does need a little bit of TLC with regards paint work and curtains but overall if you are looking for a traditional beach house stay...this is it. Siobhan was extremely responsive and very pleasant.

We have just returned from a thoroughly relaxing week staying in Siobhan’s house. The house is only minutes walk from the beach with off street parking and a good outdoor space for our son to play, which was exactly what we were looking for! There are plenty of places around for food and entertainment and it’s a great base to explore further afield too. We were very comfortable in the house which was spotless for our arrival and it had everything (and more) that we required for our family escape. Communication with Siobhan was super both before and during our stay, check in and check out was easy and we would definitely recommend to others and hope to return again ourselves.

Stayed over the Christmas at Strand Road House. Absolutely perfect location, a stone throw from the beach, golf club, pubs and all the local amenities. Large house with plenty of space for families. An open fire which is lovely, and the beach can be seen from upstairs. Perfect hosts Siobhan had the house warm when we arrived. I would highly recommend if looking for a stay in Donegal, you won’t be disappointed. Narin/ Portnoo is a breathtaking part of the country with everything you would want for a break away. Picturesque scenery and friendly locals, it has it all.

We loved staying at Strand Road House with our two young children - it has lots of space, loads of character and couldn't be closer to the beach and other amenities at Narin. Siobhan was a great host, extremely welcoming and helpful and very responsive to messages. We'd recommend it to anyone and would love to go back.
