Thank you for a beautiful place to stay! The house was great...yes, there are trains, but if you bring a sound machine...it is no problem!! Peaceful, quiet...great little town with a really nice cafe/restaurant. Would stay here again!!!

Jean our host was very helpful and answered our questions ahead of time and made sure we had what we needed for Thanksgiving dinner prep. Lovely home overlooking a wide expanse of tranquil water and woods. The train can be a little startling but I lived next to a train for 20 years so it didn’t bother me. Our 1 year old granddaughter slept through it. Great open space to relax. A rocking chair in front of the wood burning stove was a nice touch, lots of time spent there reading and relaxing. We went to a rustic city park right in town and had great huckleberry shakes at Winki’s Drive In (still listed as Frostys in Google).

Fantastic spot on beautiful river! This home was everything we hoped it would be and much more. Fully equipped, comfortable, clean and spacious. The host and hostess are wonderful; the check in was seamless. The place is just as described. Close to small town, easy to walk to. We enjoyed sitting and grilling on their beautiful deck; there is a small pit fireplace to roast marshmallows. Would love to to stay again!

Nice place on the river. A bit hard to get down to the water, it is steep, but you just have to be careful. The house and patio are great. There were six of us and we all had plenty of room. Great place. Thanks Jean
