We enjoyed our stay in Maryanns house. Very responsive and accommodating host. House is big and clean though needs a little repair on door locks but overall we had a good time in her house.

House was spacious and the air conditioning was a refreshing break. I enjoyed the 3rd floor balcony for enjoying the morning sunrise. The location is about 5 mins outside the downtown San Carlos area and in the heart of a traditional neighborhood. There were youth hanging on the street at times, but an overall good convenient location. The rooms were comfortable and family room was setup for conversation. The kitchen was well equipped, with an electric warming burner for cooking. We parked inside the gate, with space for one car inside, and put to two more in front of the property on the curb directly in front of the home. The only item that needs to be mentioned is the neighbors seem to be farming roosters/chickens and one morning they started the morning greetings a bit early, 1:30am. It is normal for roosters in neighborhoods, but the neighbor across the street seems to be farming and there is more than I would expect in a normal neighborhood.

We stayed in The Heights house for two nights whilst attending a competition in San Carlos. The unit served our purposes well. The location was very good, and it was a bonus to have the Italian restaurant within a 1-minute walk of the front door. We found the house to be simply furnished but adequate for our needs. Annie did advise us to run the master bedroom shower for five minutes before using due to a bad smell, and I wondered why this could not have been done prior to our arrival. On the morning before checking out we did lose all the power to the second floor meaning no lighting and cold showers all round. On the plus side, the television, with Netflix available, was appreciated by everyone. Overall, we were satisfied with the unit although I found it a little pricey for the level of finishing on offer.

They were great host. The place was perfect for us. Location is accessible and lots of parking. Living room was fully air conditioned and very relaxing to watch tv. We will stay there again
