We had a great week here, everything was as expected and the house and pool area was actually event nicer than the photos. The view is beautiful and the pool absolutely perfect for swimming and also for the kids to mess around in. The house was very spacious and spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a weeks stay, the bedrooms felt luxurious with comfy beds and bathrooms. We were two families of 5 and even then it still felt spacious. It's well located to explore the Tuscany and the local area, we went to Florence and Siena for afternoons and also smaller local towns in the evening for dinner. My only suggestion would be for an outside table nearer the house to enjoy meals and card games outside, there is a table but it is quite far from the house near the car parking area and we never felt compelled to go there which meant we sat inside in the evening, but that was fine too, the house is very welcoming. Many thanks to Christina and everyone for helping us enjoy our holiday

Wow…the house,property, and location are simply stunning. This was our first time in Tuscany and we were looking for a place that had the Tuscan vibe. This place was definitely it. The scenery from the back yard is beautiful not to mention peaceful. There was plenty of space for people to spread out. It was a few minutes from supermarkets where you can pickup food,etc either to have breakfast or cook/eat dinner in the outdoor bbq/kitchen which we did. The house is pretty central to the following locations. I wanted to minimize the drive time on any given day and this location helped do that. Cinque Terra: 1.5 hour Pisa: 30-40 minutes Florence: 50-60 minutes San Gigignano: 50-60 minutes Tip for driving to Florence, park at one of the light rail stops right outside the old city before crossing the river. There is free parking and its a quick 10-15 minute train ride into old Florence Our host Christina was very friendly and made checkin very easy. I highly recommend this airbnb.

After a busy first week in Italy, Villa San Marco was the perfect place for our group of 9 to unwind and relax. The location was great. Remote and quiet with spectacular views. There are many towns within an 1 - 1.5 hr drive that are great for a day trip. The villa itself was perfect. Clean and spacious with more than enough room to spread out. The pool was very clean and provided a much needed reprieve from the heat. Most importantly though, was Cristina. She was the perfect hostess. From the moment we booked until the day we checked out, Cristina promptly responded to every request and question. She provided great information and recommendations. Thank you, Cristina!
