Visited with my adult son with learning difficulties. It was a perfect home for both of us. Very comfortable and quiet. The island is amazing-unspoilt and wild everywhere, with so many places to visit. The convenience of the home’s location to the Stornoway ferry terminal was important for us. Just 5 minutes away. Ideal for late arrival and early departure ferries. Irene was always rapid to reply to messages and so welcoming and friendly. We will stay here again, next time we visit Lewis.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, comfortable and very well-appointed. The house is well-situated and within walking distance from the Iolaire memorial site, and is five minutes' drive from town and the ferry terminal. The view from the front was fabulous, too.

Irene und Ihr Schwiegersohn waren sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend!!! Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen!! Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt! Wir können die Unterkunft Wärmsteins weiter empfehlen!! Vielen Dank für alles!!!!

We had a lovely week staying in this house. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and shown round the property which was clean and comfortable. We discovered a problem with the shower the next day which we made Irene aware of, and this was fixed on the same day. Irene was very friendly and welcoming, and happy to answer any questions we had. I would thoroughly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stornoway. There was also lots of tourist brochures in the house for attractions in Lewis and Harris which were useful to have.

Very clean. Close to town centre. Very good shower. The outside areas need attention, photos are maybe from previous years with weeded garden and beautiful flowers but if you’re not bothered by that the house inside was very clean and tidy.
