Just returned from a fantastic stay in the villa. We were a group of 10 so the size of the villa was great and also lots of outside space. Special mention should be given to Maria who lives above the villa- her help and knowledge was hugely appreciated- from booking taxis to ordering food and recommending restaurants. Visitors who book the villa should be aware that the owners family does occupy one of the rooms and the family will sometimes use the pool - it is not exclusive use but it did not cause us any issues at all. There are two doubles upstairs and two downstairs which is different to the listing. There is also a separate building in the garden which sleeps four which was great for older kids. The pool was lovely to use and the garden area was cleaned every day. The mosquitoes were a big problem so beware of this and cover up in the evenings! The location of the villa gave beautiful views but the downside was the walk back from town- uphill for about 20-30 minutes. We didn’t hire a car but you might want to consider this. Overall a great central location on the Sorrento peninsular and a fabulous host!
