We were stunned by the beauty and size of this magnificent home. We rented both the western and Japanese wings of this artistically decorated house. It's like staying in a museum. Many restaurants and the Kurashiki River were just minutes away. The owner Honoka was friendly and super responsive. They allowed us to store our baggage at the house for a few hours after check out. We were so comfortable here and wished we had booked this place for longer.

Kurashaki Den is an exceptional place to stay - beautifully finished, well equipped, lovely blend of modern and traditional Japanese. The location is an easy walk from the station and kurashiki is on the door step. 8 of us stayed here and loved it!

Best house from our trip to Japan by a mile! Fantastic location, very spacious, and very well designed. The owners were kind, accommodating and responsive. Their house is steps away from the historic district which is full of great food, fun shops, and beautiful scenery. The Kurashiki den is a must for anyone wanting to explore the area.
