Wonderful stay at Giuseppe’s place close to the train station and the city walls of Lucca. The apartment is large, spacious and clean with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen and a two lovely outdoor, covered patios. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The apartment is quiet and peaceful but very close to the action. We were met at the street by Margherita would showed us around the place and had an apricot tart waiting for us that her mother made! We also had plenty of coffee, milk, lemonade and a bottle of white wine which made our stay that much sweeter. Highly recommend Giuseppe’s place.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very kind, generous and helpful and had provided many extras including wine, a homemade crostata, local spring water and breakfast essentials. These days that’s a rarity. The apartment was very clean and spacious and had everything we’d need and we found it easy to get around (thanks also to the use of bikes). We would like to come back!

Giuseppe and Margherita’s home is absolutely beautiful! She met us at the door. It was very spacious with three bedrooms and two baths. The large terrace was beautiful, unfortunately it was too cold to sit out there. The location is close to the train station and a short walk to the wall. There was a delicious tart, sparkling wine and soft drinks waiting for us. It was the best stay of our trip!
