private mountain cabin surrounded by a large variety of flowers, a large variety of birds. the two bedroom cabin is spacious, comes with a fireplace and wood, you wake up with birds chirping it is a dream vacation. the host family went above and beyond with so many things the space is too small to list. there is also a garden and organic garden area that the owner will take you through if you like. my first night I was welcomed with an amazing dinner including fish that had just been caught one half an hour before the dinner there are just not words and this was my second stay there and I plan to go back very soon. and the beauty of it is that it's fairly close to Banos and you can spend the day in Banos and do activities there and then get back to your cabin at night and enjoy it there. I probably shouldn't say this but they could really charge quite a bit more for that cabin than what they charge and people would gladly pay it because it's worth it.

Increíble lugar, volvería mil veces porque aun quedaron cosas por hacer, Danny es un gran hombre, amable y sobretodo un gran host, el mejor lugar para perderse en la montaña.

Super cool experience, I loved the tour they gave us of the farm, trying all the fruits and herbs . Hosts was extremely friendly and was a beautiful experience overall .

¡Nuestra estadía en la cabaña de Danny fue simplemente maravillosa! Él y su esposa, junto con sus hijos, fueron unos anfitriones excepcionales, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos y extremadamente amables. El lugar es un verdadero paraíso para desconectarse, rodeado de tranquilidad y naturaleza. Tuvimos el placer de utilizar su huerto, y mi esposo preparó un delicioso jugo de tomate de árbol. Danny también nos obsequio una trucha asada que estaba deliciosa y en nuestra última noche nos brindó una rica chuleta preparada por su esposa. Además, exploramos el hermoso río que atraviesa la propiedad, disfrutando del pintoresco camino rodeado de árboles, animales y una vegetación imponente. Si decides hacer la caminata al río, asegúrate de llevar ropa cómoda, ya que el camino de regreso puede ser empinado. Lo más destacado de nuestra aventura al río fue la guía turística, Camila. ¡Definitivamente planeamos volver en un 100%! Gracias, Danny y familia, por una experiencia inolvidable.

Most wonderful place to stay in the mountains near Banos. Danny's farm and cottages are set in a beautiful garden and surroundings. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place away from the city, in a rural valley among farms. It's nice to have your own transport to get there, but a bus does the route into the valley to the village of El Triunfo a few times per day. A great find, we loved staying there.
