Great stay in a great location. A short walk to everything in the French Quarter. Place matches pictures and location. Good value. The courtyard is great for relaxing but loud at night. Inside a bit worn, but we’ll kept and as described. The shower a bit of a puzzle but figured it out. A good value for a good location. Definitely recommend.

What a great place with so much to do all around! The hosts are very communicative and helpful, making an easy and comfortable stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in the FQ!

Cute and modern little place near everything! Functional small kitchen, comfy mattress, clean room with a plant filled interior courtyard. We also stayed a few nights at another location that this host/company owns and they are super!! Very quick and informative communicators.

The location is pretty ideal. walking distance to bourbon street and lots of great places to eat and great live music. The other guests in the building were apparently not subject to the same rules and quiet hours as we were. The noise, over night, was truly ridiculous. Yelling, screaming, stomping, I literally came close to calling the police at one point, because it sounded like a girl may be getting un-alived. They, soon after, went back to their normal noise. But, this was like 1 a.m. and all night long. Pretty much ruined an otherwise great stay.

Saint Philip Residence a Hospitality of New Orleans property has been often called the best-hidden gem in the city. The building is a brick double townhouse that follows the Creole traditional architectural style. Its exterior stairways, balustrades, window treatments, fluted columns and capitals, fences and gates are all original, providing you with the quintessential French Quarter experience. Saint Philip Residence overlooks Saint Philip Street and features 15 residential-style apartments, a lush courtyard, and multiple private and semi-private balconies. In each space you will find plenty of room to relax; arranged more like apartments than a traditional hotel room. You'll feel right at home with us! Famed author Robert Stone lived here with his wife Janice when he wrote “Hall of Mirrors” in 1960. The book was later turned into a Hollywood movie called WUSA. Saint Philip Residence is the true flavor of New Orleans and has a very colorful past. In the 1940's it was a brothel run by one of New Orleans most notorious madams. The very large gallery balconies overlooking St Philip street and surrounding streets are mesmerizing and a great place for morning coffee or sipping wine in the evening, not to mention people watching as there are always events, parades, and interesting people passing by.
