Meadowhead is one of the most unique AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed at. It’s essentially an old estate with private botanical gardens! Photos cannot do justice to the expansive and beautifully landscaped grounds, with so many different water features, from streams to ponds (with resident swans!) to ornate fountains, all set against a backdrop of rolling pasture and woodlands which are easily explored on foot from the property. Where you’ll stay is an annex with private entrance adjoining the main house where lovely hosts Pam and Andrew live. The living room/barn conversion is lofty, light and spacious, the bedroom is exquisite and luxurious, and a well-equipped country kitchen connects them in the heart of the space. There are lots of powerful radiators everywhere and we stayed nice and warm in the winter, even in the huge living room. Pam is a warm and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed. This was a unique and unforgettable stay, we recommend 100%!!!

The barn is a paradise! Very quiet and peaceful, we really enjoyed our time here. The place is well communicated with the main cities. Pam is an excellent host! I highly recommend it!

Thank you, I had a wonderful stay. Both the dogs and I enjoyed our walks around the grounds, the house was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom incredibly lovely, with a very comfortable bed. So quiet and calm, all round. I was sad to leave.
