This place and location was perfect for one of my, get-away-from-it-all weeks with my dog. I was able to cook all my meals in the full kitchen, just no microwave. Beautiful, Brookside location on a gravel road. Deer in the brook in the mornings. I did several different hikes...Ledges Overlook at Townshend, Overlook at Jamaica Park, Equinox Mountain and AT in Manchester. The bathroom is certainly a little funky, but I got accustomed to it without a problem. Massage and Reiki available less than a mile down the road, Margie's Muse. I wasn't able to get an appointment the day I was available but she sounded great on the phone. Loved sleeping in the loft. Will return.

Jason was a very friendly host and responded very quickly to the small inconveniences we had during our stay. The place is very cozy and peaceful, the river gives that mystical and magical touch for those who want to disconnect from the stress and noise of the city. If you are looking for peace and recharge with new energies, this is the place!

Another great stay at one of Jason's properties. I LOVED being right next to such a beautiful stream, cozy at night, breathtaking beauty during the day. Didn't want to leave! And Jason was, as always, a great, responsive host. Can't recommend enough.

Jason is a very responsive and proactive host! He made sure we had directions so that we did not get lost on our way to the cabin. We loved letting our dogs explore the property and relaxing in the hammock by the brook. Folks should know that heavy rain makes the dirt roads slick and the driveway very muddy. I wouldn’t recommend driving here in the Spring without AWD. We almost got stuck in the driveway because our car sunk into the mud, but again AWD helped a lot. The heater in the cabin also turned off frequently in the night( resolved by following the instructions taped to the heater, but it happened multiple times) so it was a bit chilly! I think in the warmer months it wouldn’t be an issue.
