Great homestay with a lovely family, yummy food and they were able to help with a taxi to Cockscoombe. You won't regret staying with Ernesto and Aurora - they are rely inspirational people and very interesting... exactly what we wanted.

Good location for hiking at Cockscomb Basin, about 30 minutes straight down a dirt road gets you there. Juan and co were responsive and helpful. The room itself was basic but was just what we needed the night before our hike. Maya Centre is small and quiet but Hopkins is right down the road. Overall, good experience!

The room was clean and beds comfy - very simple space. AC worked. Close to Cockscomb for birding. My friend did a treatment with Aurora, which she enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious! Just order ahead. We didn't get any response to our AirBnB message, but Ernesto found us a birding guide when we arrived for the next day.

This place is owned by Ernesto and Aurora. Ernesto was influential in starting up the beautiful Cockscomb wildlife and Jaguar sanctuary. Aurora is a Mayan healer. Both are wonderful people, and we spent a wonderful few hours sitting with them at breakfast learning about them, the Mayan culture, and Cockscomb. The grounds are beautiful with birds everywhere, including regular visits from toucans. The rooms are very basic, so if you are looking for comfort and luxury, don'tcome here. However everything was clean. The food we had was fresh and excellent authentic Mayan food. They even gave us lunch h to go one day. Make sure you communicate ahead of time about when you want meals. The area in general is nice with easy access to beaches, restaurants and parks.

Sajnos a tisztaság szörnyű volt még miután kértük sem takaritottak ki. A bejutas nehézkes volt. A helyszíni programok és ételek is tularazottak érdemesebb bemenni hopkinsba.
