Lovely property in the hills with great character. Easily accommodated our large family with plenty of living spaces and break out zones. The Welcome pack was very nice touch.

Absolutely amazing stay! My family visited for my Mum and Dad’s 50th wedding anniversary and they had one of the best holidays ever they said. We absolutely loved the house, the location, the gorgeous views and watching the trains go by. In fact that was one of our favourite things to watch. Louise was an amazing host and very responsive and friendly. We are already talking about booking this place again over the coming couple of years!

We stayed as a family group to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday and the place was perfect for this. Louise & Nigel were fabulous and came back to the house to fix a couple items before we settled in for the weekend. The place was very comfortable with a family group of 10 with showers and places to sit and relax. The outlook over the countryside is gorgeous. They do warn you that there are trains and be warned they do come some nights several times during the night and you can hear them from the house (-: The kitchen is very well stocked for a big group of people (Oven is a bit of a challenge to work out how to use but there are instruction manuals in the drawer and eventually we worked it out) They have thought of everything... even a high chair for a child.

The house was perfect for 7 adults and a three year old, and clearly could accomodate more, no one felt cramped or enfringed upon, plenty of space for all to enjoy the serenity. Nice surprise to find a welcome basket of goodies on arrival. Ideally located in the Adelaide hills to enjoy day trips, when we weren’t just lazing back and enjoying the peace n quiet with a glass of wine and some local produce, or a sauna. The bath in the main ensuite was a great hit with the three year old who loved to watch the sun set, ok a couple of adults may have loved it with a drink to toast the end of a perfect day also. Louise was the perfect host and we’d all come back for another stay

The house was spacious with both cosy nooks for time alone, and/or large spaces for all the family to gather. Comfortable beds and lounges, lovely spaces outside to dodge the blazing sun , sit amongst the garden shade , or catch the morning and evening breeze on the deck. Beautiful views into the valley. We felt at home from the moment we walked onto the property.
