It’s an awesome place where you get to blend with nature. We had our own concerns as to how it would be without air conditioners. Well we had our answers once we reached Skandavan. Especially the cross ventilation in the rooms and source of natural light. It’s a must try experience and it felt good to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A cool and calm environment.

This place is beautiful— gorgeous in fact—a superb building, decorated in delightful taste, on marvellous scenic grounds. It is peaceful, a good place to be left on your own. Servants are supposed to take care of you and the hosts are not really around. Food: The included breakfast was mediocre at best. But on request they arranged for extra lunch to be cooked for me, and that food was magnificent. Wi-Fi and cell phone were not reliable in Peacock cottage when I was there. I could only count on reception by standing outside, and there were some mosquitoes. On the last day, I learned that the reading room in a separate building seems to have reliable wifi. if you don’t feel you need Wi-Fi in your room, this can be a good place to focus. Chanting from the Hindu temple next door might wake you at 5 am. All in all, a memorable and powerful spot.

It was mesmerizing to see the architecture. The place was surreal and one can listen to the beautiful music produce by nature. The place was very quiet and simply Amazing. Micheal is amazing personality. Thank you for having us here.
