Our decades of dedication to uncompromising sustainability have now been rewarded with a Green Star from the Michelin Guide for the fourth time in a row. We are also part of the Slow Food movement and have been recognized by the Slow Food Guide. We are delighted with this recognition, which encourages us every day. ACKERLIEBE. WE ARE CRAZY ABOUT FIELDS. Our own field, just 20 meters from the kitchen. We cook with the best ingredients that couldn't be fresher: Vegetables, salads, herbs, fruit and edible flowers planted exclusively in the highest Demeter quality. We are proud that we can harvest from our own fields in front of our guests. ANIMAL WELFARE - OUR TOP PRIORITY. Respectful treatment of nature's creatures. Our Galloway and Black Angus cattle graze right next to the HILZHOF. Lush meadows, healthy feed and plenty of space. They are also grazed there with great care and respect. The Juradistl lambs graze within sight on the rough pastures of Schanzberg and Nusshölzl. We also have our own butcher's shop, which is an integral part of our two restaurants MEIER and HIO.
