We enjoyed our stay as a group at this spot. The host was on top of communication which made check in very easy. There was a lot of space for our large group and we enjoyed the layout of the house. One downside was that there was a train right near the house that went by every couple hours. Otherwise a great spot to stay if visiting the ark!
We loved the house, everything was perfect.
Our place wasn't the cleanest but we did our own cleaning and aired out the smells and it felt a lot better. The outdoor garbage cans were almost full when we arrived and weren't able to shut by the time we left but i sent an email so the host knew they needed done asap. We ended up having a train track close by but apparently i was the only one who woke up to it a few times during the whole stay (i had a front bedroom so also cars breaking and going and music but overall not bad). It was super spacious! Doing our own laundry was a plus and we saved some money cooking in instead of eating out. I will say a lot of the teflon type pans were very scratched and apparently someone microwaved the plastic cereal bowls so most of them had the nasty melty plastic line on them. But it was nice we didn't have to bring any hand/dish/laundry/dishwasher soaps and they even had ground coffee and k cups available!
Needed a place that would have enough space for a large family gathering. There was 15 of us and there was great sleeping space for all as well as a large living room to gather for games and conversation. The place has very good natural light. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. The kitchen/dining room was a bit tight but it was an open floor plan and were able to make it work. We found what we needed to cook all of our meals there. The place was clean and free of clutter. All three bathrooms were nice sized and looked to be newly remodeled. Jeremiah is an excellent host and communication was very easy. There is a train that runs by quite frequently day and night, so it might be something to consider if your a light sleeper. It was nostalgic for most of our group so we didn't mind.
