The majority of streets in Las Catalinas are pedestrian only, and you can walk from one side of town to the other in about 10 minutes, meaning that restaurants, shops, trails, and the beach are never far away. There is also a network of bikeable paths cleverly arranged in town so that all homes and apartment buildings have access on two wheels as well as two feet. For transportation from town to the surrounding areas, transfers can be arranged through the concierge team.
Las Catalinas is centrally located on the Guanacaste coast and there are many interesting and fun places nearby that you may wish to visit during your trip.
Surfing is a very popular activity nearby. A 30-minute drive takes you to the famous surfing at Playa Grande. For experienced surfers a 30-minute boat trip can have you at Witches’ Rock or Ollie’s Point.
The towns and beach areas around Las Catalinas have a lively mix of locals, expats, and visitors. Many worthy restaurants and other establishments are within a 15-minute drive.
