I thought long and hard before writing this review. I have a business and know how much a bad review can hurt and how frustrating it is when you trust a third party to represent your interest but fail to be transparent. Interaction with Cuvee, the property management company was pleasant; they were friendly and accomondating, especially on our last night there. We were allowed a late check out due to airline delays. The gorgeous property is situated close to the entrance of the Hualalai development, the farthest point from the Four Seasons resort. It has all the amenities to feel like home. It included a golf cart, so getting to the resort/ beach was a seven minute drive away. We were greeted with hourderves, Mai Tais, and a Lei. Our host offered airport transfers, access to the Four Seasons Resort, and Chef prepared meals. However, Cuvee didn't disclose the cost for the chef: over $9,000 for four days of breakfast and dinner without alcohol for four people. The host did not disclose that the 5th bedroom was closed due to a cracked, leaking sink until after arrival. On the last evening of our stay, the chef conveyed to me the cost for his services was $700. I tipped him $700, but that amount was deducted after I was told the tip was included in the final bill (tip amount not disclosed). I didn't receive the $1200 refund due to me for the overcharge for the stay. $3900/ night opposed to $4,200 night. I can't help but feel I was taken advantage of. My opinion is that they know their clientele represents an affluent segment, so non-disclosure isn't as bad as asking what everything costs.
