We happen to stay at Joy’s Place during a winter storm in April. Joy was very proactive in telling us what we needed to get through the storm in case there was a power outage. However, the power only went out for a few minutes. The home was very well heated, and we were warm the entire time We enjoyed staying. It has a great location and is a very cute and practical home. We would love to return.

The place was perfect for me and my daughters. It is close to the mountains and easy to get to and from the location. Would absolutely stay here again for a ski getaway.

What a great place and it was just as described. Joy was great at communicating and was accommodating when we asked for a later check out. We would definitely stay here again. Towels and lines were so fresh and clean. Thanks for a great stay. And thanks to Mother Nature for giving me 2 feet of snow to play in ❄️🎿

Very convenient location to Sunday River and Black Mountain. Pictures were different than the actual set-up, specifically the living room. The fireplace is no longer there. Also important to note- all heat is provided by various electrical heaters. We were there on a warm weekend and had no issue, but it could be interesting if it were very cold outside.
