Nice apartment (exactly like the photos). Great location. Luigi is very responsive and tries hard to please, but some of his policies are not guest friendly. Was quite surprised about how hot water works. On first night my wife's shower went cold. She waited 30 minutes for it to warm up, but it didn't. Next day Luigi informed us that water gets heated twice a day which "guarantees hot water for up to 4 people", but not for the two of us and once out of hot water, it won't warm up until the next heating period (6-8am and 4-6pm). We just learned to take very short showers so this wouldn't happen again. Another was the apartment heating. First morning we woke up and the place was quite cold. I looked everywhere and couldn't find a thermostat to turn it on. I texted Luigi who told me that in April heat was off, but as an exception, he would turn it on for me. I don't know how it is controlled, but the renter has no control of temperature so it was now too hot. Strange.

At the start of 5 weeks in Europe in various Airbnb’s this was the perfect start. Communicating with Luigi prior to and throughout has been seamless. A personal greeting was gold and gave us the perfect start we needed. Having somewhere to stay that is a stones throw from the centre of Oxford yet quiet, serene and peaceful was fantastic. Luigi’s place is perfect and has to be one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. It has everything you need - all those important small touches have been thought of. Oxford was amazing - our first ever visit and it lived up to every expectation…..history, culture, heritage, pubs, great food, good shopping.

What a gem! We stayed for a long weekend close to the castle and Luigi's place was perfect. Walking distance to the main sites, shopping, restaurants and pubs but also tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood by the river. The flat is super clean, kitchen fitted for everything you'd need to make meals, bathroom/shower worked well and bed was comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly and allowed us to work remote. Luigi is a great host, super friendly and helped accommodate our early arrival as well as our early departure. The complimentary items needed for a short stay were convenient (coffee, soaps, paper goods) and the snacks for a small fee was a great option. Parking at Luigi's other rental is an easy, scenic walk along the river (about 20 mins), but options for parking for a fee overnight are also available nearby. We hope to return to Oxford someday and will definitely not hesitate to stay at Luigi's place again!

Look no further if you want a centrally located apartment in Oxford. Very close to the bus station we arrived at from London. Also close to the bus stop we used for a day trip to Blenheim Palace. Get away from the city center with a walk along the canal, just a couple blocks from the apartment. Highly recommended. Thanks Luigi!
