Renter beware: Saturday to Wednesday rental in beatiful Seaside. Unfortunately the house issues did not live up to the community standards. The house is filthy. There was absolutely no cleaning prior to entering this house. Mold in the bathroom showers, dirt, hair, filth all over the floor. Do not use dishes, knifes were covered with dried food. Had to sweep and cleaning during our stay. Bigger issues: both bathrooms had inoperable cold water nozzles. I called maintenance on Sunday morning when we first noticed the water in showers not working correctly. The cold water nozzle was stripped. As instructed in the notes of our stay, I contacted the number provided. I was told Sunday morning they had placed a ticket and maintenance would respond. NO ONE responded to my numerous messages and calls. Until they showed up on Tuesday, unannounced. Also no privacy in the second bedroom, it’s basically a loft. The Vacasa offered to refund me $100. I paid triple for the cleaning services.

Great location. Simple beach house with budget / acceptable furniture meeting the price point. Stairs are a little difficult to navigate.

The location and house were fantastic. Our only issue was with the communication before we booked this house. We were given wrong information about the access we would have in Seaside.

The good. It is a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping & the beach. Seaside is a beautiful community & the people were so nice. The home was supplied well & we had everything we needed. The downside, if you have small children or trouble navigating stairs, probably not for you. The staircase top to bottom is spiral & narrow. The HVAC system is insufficient for this house. We arrived in Dec. & you could hang meat in the 1st floor bedroom & bathroom. If you turn the thermostat up on the 2nd floor, the 3rd floor is like an oven. Management definitely needs to rethink the HVAC system in this home. I can’t imagine what hot summers are like. Also, upon arrival we discovered the sink was clogged in our bathroom. We notified Vacasa & Airbnb on arrival of this problem & it took 3 days for them to fix it. We won’t use Vacasa again, their local customer service is slow to respond. Airbnb did give us a partial refund after 3 days on the phone with them.
