Samah is a great host. She was very quick in reaching out with clear directions, map to the apartment, wifi info (everything). She also checked in to make sure things went well and had a friend nearby if we needed anything. We hope to stay again soon!

The neighborhood is just 2 blocks from the 2km sea corniche/boulevard where most locals like to go for a stroll, run, and eat outdoors in the diverse restaurants with sea views (including Starbucks). It's a 5-minute walk from the old city attractions, and an even shorter walk to the UNESCO hippodrome World Heritage Site and Roman ruins. Convenience and grocery stores are also easily accessible by foot.
If you are coming from Beirut, you can take a bus from COLA to Saida, and then another bus from Saida to Sour/Tyr (1.5 hour total). Once you reach Tyr, get off at the very last stop near the Souk. Then you can easily ask anyone how to take a taxi to Starbucks on the corniche ($1.25 or 2,000 L.L.) and from there walk to the apartment.
If you're coming by car, you can ask anyone about the main sea corniche.
